Water gets into an open crack, freezes, and pries it wider every winter. Fill your cracks first, then seal the whole surface. We make one crack sealer for asphalt and one for concrete.

Pull weeds and blow or brush out dirt and loose pieces. The crack needs to be clean and dry.
Tubes fit a standard caulk gun. Fill the crack up to the surface. The gallon jugs are for jobs with lots of cracks.
Smooth the top with a putty knife or squeegee so it sits level with the surface around it.
Once the filler has set, seal the whole surface with Asphalt Sealer or Concrete Sealer.
